Senior Developer (Rails and React)
Reports to: VP of Engineering
Position: Full Time Salaried
Salary Range: $140,000-$175,000

ROLE OVERVIEW:
Our team develops full stack code for ruby and rails framework for the core RecoveryOne product line. Developers work independently and in collaboration on product design, implementation, testing and deployment. We are seeking candidates that are passionate about user experience, curious about ways to improve the patient healthcare experience, focused on quality (without being militant), and entrepreneurial in approach. RecoveryOne and the development team continue to grow rapidly and are seeking a teammate that can thrive in a startup environment.
NOTE: This position is considered remote-friendly and, subsequently, accommodates candidates from any US location.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, develop, test and support features for the RecoveryOne application
- Collaborate with designers, product stakeholders and customers to build full stack solutions
- Assist in the defining and aligning development team priorities
- Developing and implementing highly responsive user interface components using the latest React concepts
- Participate in the definition, refinement, estimation and prioritization of product features
- Work closely with the development team in a collaborative, Agile development environment
- Create independently and in teams to deliver features in a timely and high-quality manner
- Support the client success team in responding to customer issues and feedback
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Review and approve code from team members
- Adhere to the development team’s practice and policies for Agile development
- Provide feedback and guidance in the continuous improvement of the development process and environment
- Investigate database query efficiency, performance bottlenecks and make suggestions to improve and support the product growth
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related field or equivalent
- 5+ years of relevant work experience as a software developer
- Must have: 4 years working with RoR, 2 years of ReactJS, JavaScript, Git/GitHub, SQL, Rspec / React Testing Library (or equivalent) and experience in all major browsers
- Nice to have: PostgreSQL, Heroku, DevOps(DNS, Load Balancing, Hosting, Scalability, WAF), Rails API vs MVC, Cordova or CapacitorJs, data analysis, analytics through Heap or equivalent

Sr. Data/BI Analyst
Reports to: Director of Data and Analytics
Position: Full-time, salaried

Salary Range: $125,000 – $160,000

We are looking for a strategic, experienced, mission-driven data analyst to help generate insights to drive growth and shape our organization. Our ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in creating insights using data by creating ad-hoc reports and dashboards that measure the key performance indicators.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or related field (eg. computer science, engineering, math, statistics, economics, etc.)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in data analytics/science, BI reporting, analytics engineering and/or a similar role focused on developing and applying analytic methodologies and techniques to analyze complex data and generate reports
- Demonstrated experience working with business stakeholders to elicit and understand business requirements, translate them into operational metrics, ad-hoc analyses, and standardized reports and dashboards that deliver actionable insights
- Proficiency in SQL; experience navigating large databases and building robust data models, workflows, and data pipelines needed for enterprise-wide reporting
- Advanced data visualization skills with proficiency in Tableau (preferred), Looker, Power BI, etc. with experience creating custom report objects and advanced interactive features
- Ability to learn and adapt to new and existing data management and BI reporting tools
- Familiarity with ELT/workflow management tools such as dbt, Fivetran, and/or AWS Glue preferred
- Experience developing statistical models (eg. segmentation, classification, etc.) using Python/R preferred
- Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate with and present to stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent project and time management skills, with demonstrated ability to efficiently work independently and meet deadlines
Responsibilities:
- Elicit and understand clear business requirements to define analysis/report specifications, identify appropriate data sources, and build reliable analytic/data models to generate analysis and reports that deliver actionable insights
- Develop operational KPIs and performance metrics that effectively measure trends and patterns concerning customer behaviors, product strategy, clinical outcomes, and sales/marketing performances and perform data exploration, preparation as well as deed-dive analysis and statistical modeling as needed
- Design, implement, and maintain standardized reports/dashboards and solidify the data foundation needed for scalable reporting by building and optimizing data models, pipelines, and workflows that enable data access and self-service analytics capabilities across the business
- Build efficient queries/scripts to mine and integrate data from multiple sources and develop insights using a visual medium that can be easily interpreted by stakeholders
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production data quality and integrity issues
- Create and maintain appropriate documentation of data lineage/definitions, report logic, and analysis methodologies to enable knowledge sharing of the steps and processes involved in the analytics lifecycle
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across the business to develop and validate hypotheses that drive data-driven decision making
- Develop and implement data governance best practices in accordance with requirements concerning data security, confidentiality, and HIPAA compliance
